Resident Tax Rebate Application Due
In 2005, the Village Board established a Resident Property Tax Rebate program under the Illinois Fiscal Responsibility Act to share excess reserve funds with Mettawa residents who are homesteaded in the Village. Homestead residents must have lived in the Village as of January 1, 2022 through the release of the tax rebate application.
The submission for the 2022 Tax Year rebate begins July 8th through October 4th.
All applications are due and must be postmarked by Friday, October 4, 2024 to qualify.
