Freedom of Information Act (FOIA)
The Freedom of Information Act ensures that all people remain entitled to complete information regarding the affairs of government, and the policies of those who represent them as public officers.
The principle mandate of the Act stipulates that each public body make available to any person for inspection, or upon submission of a written request, copies of any records that are subject to disclosure under the Act. 
Not all records are subject to disclosure, and the Act provides a number of exemptions.
The purpose of our Freedom of Information Act web page is to ensure that our community members have a thorough understanding of the role of our Village government and the policies that we manage and enforce. We have made every effort to provide you with an overview of how our Village operates and who to contact for specific questions.
